Force majeure:
Ruppert S.à r.l. reserves the right to cancel reservations in the event of force majeure (e.g. damage to or loss of equipment).
Cancellation by the renter:
If the renter cancels the equipment reservation less than 14 days before the event date, the full rental fee will be charged.
The hirer’s insurance obligation:
The hirer undertakes to insure the material made available to it against liability arising from damage caused by care from the day of delivery until it is taken back by Ruppert S.à r.l.. This includes material and immaterial consequential damage as a result of damage, loss, defectiveness, errors, mistakes or negligence. The renter shall bear any deductibles and damages that exceed the sum insured.
Delivery and return dates:
The delivery and return dates specified by Ruppert S.à r.l. must be adhered to. Changes to these dates are at the discretion of Ruppert S.à r.l.
Delivery and collection:
The goods shall be delivered to and collected from the kerbside or the delivery location agreed in writing, which must be accessible with a pallet truck. The renter must ensure that the goods are ready for collection in the same condition as when they were delivered.
Refrigerated truck regulation, delivery and allocation:
Goods delivered in a refrigerated truck must also be made available in the refrigerated truck on collection. The goods are counted in the warehouse, not by the driver. A maximum of one drinks order is delivered per refrigerated truck, and collection takes place in the same order as delivery. Alternatively, an empty refrigerated truck can be provided if available, while additional orders are transported on separate pallets in the truck. If it is not possible to allocate consumption to individual parties, a total invoice for all items will be issued to the customer.
Bar trolleys:
Bar trolleys must be completely emptied before collection. No drinks or materials may be left inside.
Self-assembly:
All assembly work, such as setting up beer tent sets or installing beer taps, must be carried out by the customer. Supporting videos are available on our website (www.ruppert.lu) under the heading “Rental”.
Material care:
The hirer undertakes to treat the material with care and to return it in the condition and cleanliness in which it was received. (Glasses may be returned unclean).
Complaints:
Any complaints regarding the condition of the material must be reported upon receipt or before use. Reports can be made by telephone or e-mail [email protected]. Reports received outside office hours will be processed the next working day.
Functionality:
The renter declares that he is familiar with the functionality of the material. Note: Refrigerators must be left to rest for at least 2 hours before use.
Restrictions on use:
The material must not be used for the storage or preparation of food.
Damage caused by improper use:
Repair and maintenance costs caused by improper use shall be borne by the tenant.
Changes to the material:
The alteration, removal or attachment of stickers, posters, screws, nails or similar is prohibited. Repair and replacement costs will be charged to the tenant in full.
Rental period:
The rental fee is valid for a maximum event period of 6 days.
Changes of address:
Changes of address must be communicated in writing by e-mail ([email protected]) before the order is confirmed.
Order items:
Order items are excluded from return.
Price changes:
Beverage prices may be adjusted due to unforeseen price increases by our suppliers.
Condition for equipment rental:
Equipment rental is subject to a corresponding drinks order. No equipment can be rented or issued without an order for the appropriate drinks.
The company therefore reserves the right to refuse to issue the equipment if there is no corresponding drinks order. Please place your drinks order at least 14 days before the delivery date.
Returning drinks:
Drinks that have not been consumed can be returned if the original packaging is unopened and undamaged (e.g. plastic bottles, Tetra Pak, cans, wine crates). However, the goods cannot be returned if they have been damaged due to improper storage, e.g. soaking in the rain or improper storage in a refrigerated truck. In such cases, the goods will not be taken back and the renter remains responsible for the full costs.
